About the Coach

Welcome to 2nd grade! I am THRILLED to teach 2nd grade after 20 wonderful years as a first grade teacher at Maplewood. This is my 24th year teaching! Here's a little about me... I am a graduate of John F. Kennedy Catholic school as well as Ohio University and Youngstown State University. I have both a bachelor's and Masters degree and have been in many professional leadership roles throughout my teaching career. Including, President of the Ohio Council of the International Reading Association, Trumbull Area Reading Council President, and currently am the president of my high school Alumni Association. I live in Howland with my husband Eric and 2 children Evan-18 and Ella-10. We also have 3 Bichons, Pierre, Jasper and Pepe'.
