Why Edpuzzle?
Edpuzzle is an easy-to-use platform allowing you to engage every student, one video at a time. It allows you to pause videos and check for understanding by asking a question. You can add pauses to videos you create or you can edit videos from many sources including youtube. It integrates with google classroom or students can login with google or they can just enter their name when the go to the Edpuzzle link you assign. Students do not see each other's work. Students can’t skip ahead, if they go to another tab/browser the video pauses. You can see how much of the video students have watched.
Please sign up for Edpuzzle by using the instructions on this document. How to Sign up for Edpuzzle
If you sign up by using a referral code you get more storage for your free account. The school does not have paid accounts (we did get access to them in the spring but that access will end July 31st).

2) Use Edpuzzle to add comprehension questions to a video from Youtube or one of the other channels in Edpuzzle that will enrich your teaching in your content area.

4) Use Edpuzzle to take a video you have created to the next level. Think about adding quick check-ins, along with open ended critical thinking questions.
Extra Challenge: Look at the Edpuzzle LIVE Mode feature and see if it would be useful in your classroom or for remote learning. Share your thoughts on the PADLET
****Remember, if you are completing this PD for Recertification Credit you need to do #1 and then either 2,3 or 4. Finally share your learning with a colleague and then complete the google form below.
One way you could share your learning could be to tell a colleague about Edpuzzle and then ask them to try out your newly created Edpuzzle video (just remember to cc ebertucci@maplerun.org when you email a colleague).
