Why Google Classroom?

Classroom helps students and teachers organize assignments, boost collaboration, and foster better communication. It is a part of a google suite and integrates well with many other apps (Edpuzzle, etc).

Setting Up Google Classroom and Parent Portal

Go to your apps in google drive and scroll down to find Google Classroom. You will see classes you have created or any that other teachers might have shared. Use the + to create a new class.

Parent Portal Info: Parents/Guardians can get daily or weekly emails about assignments and if their student handed them in. It does not show parents any of the student's work so we are finding it a bit ineffective.
