We will resume our drop-off and pick-up locations from last year. Students riding the bus will be dropped off in front of the school and picked up on Dean Rd. Students arriving in cars should be dropped off on the basketball court next to the lower parking lot. Cars will pull into the parking lot and traffic will flow to the drop-off area next to the sidewalk leading up to the school. Students may start arriving at Maple Dale at 8:00 a.m.

A “school volunteer” is any person who offers to perform a service or carry out an activity during the school day or during extended-day, school-related programs, including volunteer chaperones on student field trips or other travel trips. School Board policy recognizes and values the contributions that volunteers make in our buildings. Board and administrative team members are appreciative of the positive impact that parental, community and civic engagement has within our schools. They also recognize their obligation to balance volunteer access with the need to maintain adequate levels of safety and security for our students. As such, volunteers are asked to annually submit to a background screening at the beginning of each school year.
