Toronto Urban Agriculture Collective
Many Hands Collective Urban Farm is an 11-acre urban farm in Toronto’s Downsview Park where community, nature, and food unite. We’re a group of urban farmers, educators, composters, and local organizations working side by side to improve access to healthy food and green spaces. Our member groups joined under a single not-for-profit umbrella.
The Many Hands Urban Farm Collective manages the farm, handles day-to-day operations, and connects our diverse community. Our vision is simple: to create a shared space that offers fair access to land, practical knowledge about growing food, and opportunities in urban agriculture. By working together, we ensure that our farm remains a vibrant, sustainable resource for all.
Our vision is for Torontonians to have the skills and confidence to grow their own food in whatever space they have available, to have access to healthy, affordable, and locally grown vegetables, and to make a difference in their community and our environment
A Toronto-based microfarm producing small-batch composts and aerobic compost teas for use in agriculture, horticulture, and arboriculture.
A Toronto-based urban organic farm dedicated to providing the freshest, sustainably grown produce to our local community. Founded by Arnest Sebbumba,
We provide opportunities to reconnect with the land and learn about our plant relatives. We believe in hiring our youth, exposing them to career opportunities, and paying them a fair, living wage.
Our small-scale market garden approach to farming allows us to grow a great diversity of crops (Usually over 40 different vegetables and hundreds of varieties!)
To promote sustainable, organic, and regenerative agricultural practices while nurturing a vibrant community of mutual support through food networks.
