Manville High School is proud to announce the inaugural class of its newly established Hall of Fame, celebrating the exceptional achievements and contributions of alumni, educators, and community members who have distinguished themselves in their respective fields and have made a lasting impact on the Manville High School community.
This prestigious recognition program aims to honor individuals who embody the school’s core values of excellence, leadership, and service. Inductees have been carefully selected by a diverse committee of faculty, administrators, and alumni to represent the best of what Manville High School stands for.
The inaugural class of the Manville High School Hall of Fame includes:
Julie deFrancois-Ward- Class of 1962
Cheryl Hudock Chase- Class of 1976
Frank Janoski- Class of 1970
Art Lisciandro- Retired staff member
Dr. Gerald E. Loeb- Class of 1965
Ned Panfile- Retired teacher and coach
Andrew Persinko- Class of 1970
John Sedlock- Class of 1986
“The Hall of Fame was created to celebrate the remarkable achievements of individuals who have walked the halls of Manville High School and have gone on to make extraordinary contributions in their professions and communities,” said Adam Wright, Principal of Manville High School. “We hope their stories will inspire our current and future students to dream big and pursue excellence.”
The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on March 21, 2025, at 6pm, at the Somerville Elks. The event will feature a formal presentation of the inductees, speeches from honorees, and a reception.
Manville High School invites all alumni, students, and community members to join us in celebrating this historic occasion and honoring the outstanding individuals who have shaped our school’s legacy.
