Mrs. Piccione
My name is Mrs. Piccione, and this is my fourth year teaching 6th grade at MTES! After graduating Summa Cum Laude from East Stroudsburg University with my BA in Elementary Education and a minor in Sociology, I was fortunate enough to spend time at home with my children. Before accepting my position at Mansfield, I was actively subbing in local school districts, including Mansfield, and finally found my HOME! I am extremely excited and look forward to the year ahead!
I grew up in Washington and after moving away for 11 years, my husband and I returned to New Jersey, settling in Mansfield. We have been married for 19 years and have 3 children, Charlie (15), Olivia (14), and Jaxon (8). When I am not at school, I enjoy reading, watching my kids play sports, spending time with family and friends, the beach, and being outdoors! I also spend many hours volunteering and coaching cheerleading, which has always been a passion of mine.

My name is Dawn Tironi. Most of my students call me "Ms. T". I have been teaching at Mansfield for 23 years. It has been a blessing to teach 6th grade language arts and social studies for the past 21 years. Last year the grade level further departmentalized. I am the social studies teacher. I graduated from Caldwell University with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. I am highly qualified and certified to teach LA and SS for grades 6-8. I spent some of my career teaching in the sunshine state of Florida. However, after 9 years I was homesick. I wanted to come back home to New Jersey. #jerseygirl
In my free time I love spending time with my son Nick (23yrs. old), family and friends. I like to shop and eat out at restaurants. I have no pets. My hidden secret is I am a reality show tv junkie....shh...don't tell anyone! My son and I are devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fans. #steelersnation

Mr. Tyson
My name is Marc Tyson. This is my 25th year teaching. I have been teaching sixth grade science for the last 15 years.
I graduated from Messiah College with a BS in Elementary Education. In 2007, I completed my Masters in Education from East Stroudsburg University.
My wife and I have three very active children. Jon (13), Brandon (12) and Zac (4). When I'm not teaching, I'm busy going to marching band competitions, swim meets, and soccer games. I love listening to music and attempting to play it.

My name is Beth Deo, and this is my 24th year teaching at Mansfield. I have taught in various grade levels throughout my career; however, I have been teaching Special Education with the 6th grade Team for the past 10 years.
I graduated from Seton Hall University with a dual major... A Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and English K-12th. I received my Special Education Certification from Rutgers University and in 2005 completed my Masters in Special Education.
When I am not at work, I enjoy visiting my daughter who is a nurse in New York and spending time with my family and friends. During the summer I spend a lot of time at the beach - my happy place. I enjoy spending time outdoors.

Mrs. Snyder
My name is Kayte Snyder, and this is my fifth year teaching at Mansfield. My first year, I taught Language Arts and Social Studies, but I was happy to make the move across the hall to become the math teacher!
I graduated from Warren County Community College with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and began teaching preschool for three years. Later, I went to Centenary where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and certifications in Middle School Mathematics and Special Education. I plan on returning to school soon to earn a Masters Degree in Educational Technology!
When I am not at Mansfield, I love to read or be outside on the farm! My husband and I love adventure, and we ride motorcycles, hike, snowmobile, kayak, or just hang out with our two dogs, Luke and Rylee! I also have a cat named Charlie and ten goats! I love all things lime green and teal which is obvious once you take a peak in my classroom!
