You will have the opportunity to sign up for several volunteer opportunities in our classroom! Here is a list to think about. I love having family members in and welcome your support. Please be aware you must have a recent CORI form on file to volunteer. Please fill out the form below to share your volunteer interest(s). 

Reading: You will run a reading station for about an hour. Groups will rotate to you. This can be an every week or every other week opportunity. Depending on our school year this can be a virtual or in person opportunity. 

Math: You will run a small group activity during our math block. You are the facilitator, allowing students to make discoveries. They last about an hour. Students will rotate to you. Depending on our school year this can be a virtual or in person opportunity. 

Science/SS: You will assist in a science or social studies activity. They last about 40/45minutes. Depending on our school year this can be a virtual or in person opportunity. 

Recycler for Our Daily Bread Project: Each year we collect cans/bottles for Our Daily Bread. Students drop the cans off and when we have collected enough they will be sent home with your child (or you can pick them up). All you have to do is redeem the cans and send the money back in an envelope to school. We have been using the Mansfield Redemption Center to support another local organization. 

Writing Team: You will join us for a writing workshop to help our students develop their writing skills. Depending on our school year this can be a virtual or in person opportunity. 

ODB Team parent: Assuming Our Daily Bread is open for volunteers, once a month we participate in a service learning activity after school there. We volunteer our time on Saturdays (you can choose the dates with the pantry liaison) from 3:00-4:00 at the pantry. We need one parent to be in attendance at the pantry while our agents are there. Timing could change based on the pantry. We also have had some volunteer opportunities that take place at the Mansfield Community Garden.
