Join fearless adventurer Phileas Fogg and his faithful manservant as they race to beat the clock! Phileas Fogg has agreed to an outrageous wager that puts his fortune and his life at risk. With his resourceful servant Passepartout, Fogg sets out to circle the globe in an unheard-of 80 days. But his every step is dogged by a detective who thinks he's a robber on the run. Danger, romance, and comic surprises abound in this whirlwind of a show as these characters traverse seven continents in Mark Brown's adaptation of one of the great adventures of all time.

Audition Timeline:
Auditions:
Wednesday, September 23rd from 2pm-4pm in the auditorium.
You MUST provide your own transportation home at 4pm.
You do not need to prepare anything for auditions!
Callbacks (if needed):
Thursday, September 24th from 2pm-4pm.
We will inform students who are called back via the google classroom on the evening of Wednesday September 23rd.
Not all students who audition will be called back.
Cast List Posted:
Friday, September 25th at 2pm in the audition google classroom
Rehearsals will run as follows:
Monday afternoons: 2pm-3:30pm (you must provide your own transportation home)
Wednesday afternoons: 2pm-3:30pm (you must provide your own transportation home)
Thursday afternoons: 2pm-2:50pm (you MAY take the late bus home on Thursday afternoons)
Students are not called to all rehearsals.
A detailed rehearsal schedule will be shared each month.

For those of you who are new to QMS Drama, welcome!
For those of you returning for another year, welcome back!
QMS Drama is a theatre company, NOT a drama club. We produce 2 shows a year, and you must audition to be considered to be a part of each show.
Auditions for the spring musical will be shortly after Winter break in early 2027
The fall one act comedy is a small production, and we will cast roughly 20 students.
If more than 20 students audition for the fall comedy, we will cast based on the 20 strongest auditions.
What does that mean? It means there is a chance that you may not be cast in the fall comedy......and that's OK!
Our spring musical invovles a LARGE cast and crew. We generally work with 80-100 students, and we try to cast every single student who auditions!
We do NOT precast, meaning all parts are open to ALL students auditioning!
6th graders have the same chances of getting cast as a lead as 7th and 8th graders! We've had 6th grade leads in past years, and we're certain we will have them again!
It is your job at auditions to wow us not only on stage as actors, but also off stage as humans! During auditions, be kind, be courteous, be helpful and be sure to listen to expectations.

Rehearsals will begin Monday, September 28th from 2pm-3:30pm.
Full Cast Called
You will recieve your rehearsal schedules at our first rehearsal, which will tell you what days you are called to rehearsal. It will vary week to week, depending on what we are working on.
Tech Week & Performances
Tech week rehearsals are MANDATORY, no exceptions. Students must be available for all tech week rehearsals.
Tech Week Rehearsals:
Monday November 2nd: 2pm-5pm
Tuesday November 3rd: 2pm-5pm
Wednesday November 4th: 2pm-5pm
Thursday November 5th: 2pm-5pm
Performances:
Friday November 6th:
Performance 1: 5pm
Performance 2: 7pm
If you are unable to attend all tech week performances or one or more performances, please do not audition.
