Will my student be guaranteed their first choice instrument?
No. It is requested that each student select two instruments that they have an interest in. In order to create the full band sound, all instruments need to be represented. Some students may be asked to try their second choice instrument, or something completely different. This usually occurs when there is an overflow of one type of instrument.

What instruments can my student pick from?
Here at MTES we offer a wide variety of instrumental lessons! Students can choose between the flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, bells, and percussion. Bells and drums are only offered to a select few students after an audition process. If your student is not selected for those two instruments they are guaranteed one of their other choices.
