The Mansfield Township Board of Education is comprised of nine elected members serving three-year, rotating terms. School board members serve on a volunteer basis, receiving no monetary compensation.

There is an opportunity for any member of the public to address the board at the start of each meeting.  Discussion is limited to three (3) minutes for each individual with total public participation time limited to thirty(30) minutes.

The Board conducts business at regularly scheduled public meetings. 

Meetings are held in the media center of the Mansfield Township Elementary School beginning at 6:30 p.m.  The board encourages the involvement of community residents in the education of its children and welcomes them to all public meetings. All meetings follow Robert's Rules of Order and the Open Public Meetings Act, P.L. 1975.

BOARD MEMBER APPLICATION

January 2025 through December 2025

Mansfield Township Board of Education is seeking applicants for an unexpired term for Member of the Board of Education. The term will run January 7, 2025 through December 2025. Letters of interest must be submitted by email to the attention of the Board Secretary, Danielle Dolci, at ddolci@mansfieldschool.com no later than 12:00 PM on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. All candidates must meet the requirements of holding a Board of Education position. 

Interviews will be conducted at the public meeting on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 which will take place in the Mansfield Township Elementary School, Media Center, 200 Mansfield Road East, Columbus, NJ. Interviews will be conducted at the beginning of the meeting at approximately 6:45 PM. Action may be taken and a Closed Executive Session may be held. Please direct questions to 609-298-2037 x2500.
