About Us
Mrs. Tellefsen:
After starting a career in marketing and sales, I followed my heart and became a teacher. Now entering my 22nd year, it is a journey I have never regretted. I spent 2 years teaching basic skills in North Jersey, prior to coming to Mansfield, during Mansfield Township Elementary School's opening year-20 years ago. Over the last 20 years I have taught second, third, and fourth grade. In addition to my teaching certifications, I hold my administrative and supervisory certifications. I also serve on various school committees, and am an advocate for individual student needs and learning. I teach in various ways, believe learning should be fun, and have big expectations for all of my students.
I live locally with my husband and three children, who keep me very busy with their various sports and social calendars. I love to travel and create memories with my family and friends.

Mrs. Wemple:
I attended Bloomsburg University and earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I also hold a Master’s degree in Reading and am certified as a Reading Specialist. After completing my college education, I began teaching at MTES. This year will be my 16th year teaching. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades over the past years.
I live in Chesterfield with my husband, eight-year-old son, four-year-old daughter, and our new puppy. This summer my family enjoyed spending time outside in our backyard, where we spent countless hours watching our kids play on their new playset, catching lightning bugs, as well as sitting around our firepit eating s’mores.
This year I look forward to getting to know our new students and helping them grow into better readers, writers, and thinkers. Please reach out with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the year.
