Mansfield Middle School Library

Library overview

The library is open from the time students get off the bus until the time they get back on at the end of the day. Language arts/Reading teachers schedule a time to bring their classes to the library once or twice a month. Students are able to ask their teachers to come to the library to check out books when they have completed their assignment in class. Students are also able to select the library during select times during X-Block.

Stacie Ristau

Library Media Specialist

I began teaching at Mansfield Middle School September 2021, but have been a resident in town for almost 20 years. I was the Library Media Specialist at Putnam Middle School for 3 years before beginning work at MMS and was a 6th grade language arts and social studies teacher for almost 10 years before that.

I spend my free time with my husband and two daughters. I enjoy reading, hiking, and mountain biking.

Karisa Hescock

Library Paraprofessional

I joined the MMS family in January of the 2020-21 school year. I have spent time with both the Mansfield Public Library and Rockville Public Library.

I have had a passion for reading since a young age, and have always tried to instill that same passion in every student that passes through our doors.

I spend my free time reading, cross stitching, playing video games or spending time with my cat.

Brittany Maheu

Library Paraprofessional

I joined the MMS family at the beginning of the 2021-22 school year. I enjoy getting to know all of our students, creating interactive activities and displays to get students engaged with learning and helping to host our ongoing announcements club with Mr. O'Donnell

I spend most of my time reading, playing with my puppy and enjoying time with my family.
