The National Honor Society is a national organization, consisting of local school chapters, that recognizes outstanding students who meet or exceed particular standards in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership and character. Being a member of NHS demonstrates that a student has gone through a selection process and was identified by faculty members as being among the very best in their class.
