What We Are Learning About

Weeks of:  May 21-24

Language:  This week working on prefixes- how do they change a word? 

Amplify:  (we finish this unit on Wednesday and start our last unit on Thursday)

   Unit 10- Colonial America: Students will be reading selections that are from a child's point of view from the colonial america era. They will be learning about how the colony started, what life was like when they first arrived, and the progressed they made the first couple of years they settled on the new land. Students will be looking at the similarities and differences between the colonies. They will also be asked to identify the 13 original colonies on a map. 

Math:  (we finish this last standard and then the rest of the time will be review) 

                Level 1:    I can identify shapes.  

                Level 2:  I can draw a shape based off of attributes given to me. 

                Level 3:  I can draw/tell shapes  based on attributes as well as identify attributes of a shape. 

Writing: Students are working on final copies of their narrative this week
