Project managers are responsible for planning and overseeing Think College and Advocacy projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of a Manovikas's goals and vision.
Responsibilities for Project Manager
· Determine, define, develop and deliver project scope and objectives
· Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
· Prepare project report update on media and websites on scope of work and resource requirements
· Manage to develop linkages with other University, College, Schools, Community and Govt. Offices for network and ensuring the implementation of programmes.
· Track project in order to meet requirements of stakeholders
· Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
· Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
· Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
· Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
· Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
· Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Education Qualification:
Project managers generally need to have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Business Management with minimum 2 years’ experience and having detail-computer oriented and excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Important Skills:
· Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
· Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
· Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
· Excellent analytical skills
· Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
· Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Work Environment
This is a travelling and delegation job. Need to manage documentation and presentation in the Office of Manovikas.
Must be willing extensively without time barrier virtually when necessary.
Salary
Salaries range from Rs.12,000 to Rs.15,000 depending on level of education, years of experience.
