Andrew Quinn is joining the Manor Mustang Band after a successful tenure as the Director of Bands for Rockdale ISD in Rockdale, TX. While at Rockdale, he was able to take the Big Blue Band to Sweepstakes ratings at UIL Concert and Sightreading and helped design and a marchig show to celebrate the towns 150th Anniversary celebration earning recognition from the mayor and city council. Before Rockdale he served as Associate Director of Bands at Bryan High in Bryan, TX where he worked with the Symphonic Band and Color Guard programs. Before moving to Texas, he taught at Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, NM outside of El Paso. The band qualified for the New Mexico State Concert Band Contest and placed 6th overall. He also helped start the Mayfield MPACT Winterline in his first year at Mayfield. He is currently in the process of earning his National Board Teaching Certification.
In his free time, he loves exploring new places, having a chance to read a book here and there, and becoming heavily invested in all things Lego. He is very excited to join the Manor Mustang Band Program and having the opportunity to meet everyone.

Rafael Parra is a graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Education who enjoys playing french horn and mellophone. While at Texas State, he had the pleasure of performing with the University Wind Symphony, serving as a section leader in the Bobcat Marching Band, and had the honor of performing as principal horn for the University Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Parra is from Bulverde, Texas, and graduated from Smithson Valley High School in 2017.
As a marching arts instructor, Mr. Parra served as a field technician for the Jack C. Hays High School marching band from 2021-2024, and as a visual instructor for the Guardians drum and bugle corps from 2022-2023, and the Crossmen in 2024. For the 2026 WGI season, Mr. Parra plans to work with the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX, as the visual coordinator for Infinite Flight indoor winds.
Before teaching, Mr. Parra toured as a mellophone performer with several drum corps, including the Guardians from 2016-2017, the Crossmen from 2018-2019, and the Santa Clara Vanguard in 2020. During the WGI season, Mr. Parra performed for Crossmen Winds, with the group earning the Silver medal for World Class Independent Winds in 2018. Outside of band, Mr. Parra enjoys bird spotting and producing electronic music, and he is beyond excited to make music with the Manor Mustang Band!
Assistant Band Director - Percussion

Mr. Hamilton is a graduate of Texas State University Class of 2024. He earned his degree in Music Education with a specialization in percussion. Mr. Hamilton is from Dayton, Texas and graduated from Dayton High School in 2019. Mr. Hamilton is currently in his second year as a band director, with previous experience teaching private lessons and as a percussion technician in the Austin and Houston area.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife. He loves spending time outdoors and finding new shows to be obsessed with. Mr. Hamilton is very excited to join the Mustang Band!
