Pre-AP English 2

Class Overview

In high school English we will read and write everyday in order to develop the skills that increase our critical thinking, analytical writing, imagination, and creativity. Throughout the year we will discuss many ideas and topics using literature, media, and art. During class you will be challenged to ask questions, to be analytical, to think outside the box, explore different perspectives, and participate in discussions. In this academically rigorous environment students not only increase their academic readiness, but learn the power of their voice and are challenged to use that voice to positively impact the world around them.
