Bio

Professional: I am entering my 10th year as a teacher, I spent 4 years at Webb MS teaching 8th grade math and algebra I.  This will be my 6th year at MECHS and 2nd year as math department chair. I have mainly taught algebra I, but have also taught TSI prep and SAT prep for the math portions.  Before teaching, I worked at FedEx for over 10 years where I started as a package handler in college and worked my way up after I graduated.  I attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where I received my Bachelor's in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences (NRES).

Personal: I am married with 3 kids who keep me busy when I am not engrossed with teaching.  My kids all play sports, they are 12, 10 and 7 years old, and we attend most games, even practices, as a family.  I enjoy remodeling my house, watching a show, reading a book and playing games such as cards, video games, board games, etc..
