We are fortunate to have a very active and enthusiastic committee at Manor. Our aim is to raise funds independently of the school's allocated budget. Over the years we have raised thousands of pounds, which have been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children's educational and school facilities including extras like Christmas parties, theatre visits, African Drumming sessions, playground equipment and each year we supply every year 6 pupil with their purple jumper.

FOMS are here to provide closer links between home and school and is a great way to bring parents, staff and friends together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal.

This year will be a very different one as we are unable to run many of our usual events like the popular Christmas Bazaar, quiz nights and discos. We do however have lots of exciting things planned for everyone to enjoy which we can’t wait to share with you in our regular newsletters. You can also keep up to date with all of our events by liking our new facebook page: FOMS - Friends of Manor Uckfield. https://www.facebook.com/FomsUckfield .

We encourage all parents to come and get involved, even if you have a small amount of time available. We try to make it as much fun as possible and to involve the children, members of the school and the local community at every opportunity. Please don’t forget to download the Easyfundraising app, this is a great way to support FOM’s from the comfort of your own home.

Please let us know if you have any contacts or skills we could use, everything is potentially valuable to us. We meet once or twice a term and are always looking for new ideas and fresh input to help raise funds and the profile of the school. There are a number of ways you can support FOMS, such as offering to help at events, sharing our facebook page with friends and family, selling raffle tickets, providing prizes etc. Anything you can do is a great help to us.

We wouldn't be able to achieve what we do, without the fantastic families here at Manor.
