Here are some instructions on how to find the materials you need:
In order to use the shared folder in the Google Drive, a guest needs to be invited (Google term). This process is free and it will allow the invited guest to use the Google Drive Search engine.
Please go to Tonoa Mai / Invite Me page to receive an invitation if you have not been invited yet.
Once you are invited, click on one of the links in the invitation email that will take you the website's pages or straight to the shared folder RTM. You may also access this shared folder RTM directly from your Google Drive account, under the menu 'Shared with me'.
Most of the materials are provided in PDF format. If you would like to have a material in MS Word format, please Contact Us / Whakapā Mai. We will send it to you if available.
There are 2 ways to view the materials in Google Drive, Grid View and List View. With Grid View, you can see a snapshot of the cover of each material. With List View, you can see only the titles of the files. These options can be found on the top right-hand side of the Google Drive window. Please refer to the images provided below.
To find the material you need. either use the Search function provided by the Google Drive, or use the folders that are named according to the level (taumata/kōeke) of the language learners.
If searching based on the folders, there are materials that can be used across several levels. These materials can be found in the lowest level applicable. E.g. A set of ngohe whakarongo (listening activities) for taumata 2 and 3 is stored in taumata 2 folder.
Most of the materials have been created by Leslie Tiki Koroheke (Papa Tiki). There are also works from other contributors. All of them are licensed under Copyright Commons: Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0).
