Curriculum is the roadmap for what your child is learning in school. It includes the knowledge, skills, and concepts teachers plan and teach across each grade level and subject area. At Manheim Central, our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to help students grow academically, think critically, and become lifelong learners. It aligns with state standards and reflects our commitment to preparing students for success in school and beyond.
The Departments in Curriculum Writing for the 25-26 school year are:
Science
STEM
World Language
Library Science
A Vertical Articulation document shows how what students learn builds from one grade level to the next, helping ensure a clear, connected learning journey from year to year.
A year-at-a-glance document gives an overview of what students will be learning throughout the school year in each subject, helping families understand the big picture of classroom instruction.
Unit maps break down each part of the curriculum into smaller sections, showing the key topics, skills, and goals students will focus on during specific units of study. Unit maps can be made available to parents upon request.
Please contact Krystle Nemeth, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, if you have any questions or would like to request a Unit Map for a specific content area.
