Reading - Work independently on a personal interest project.

Term 4 Week 1

  • Reading - Summarise important information in our own words.

  • Writing - Use summarising skills and key vocabulary to write a paragraph relating to the text.

  • WOW - Research the word phenomena and learn it's meaning. Find different natural phenomena around the world and plot it on a Google Map. Choose one phenomena and create a mosaic drawing to illustrate it.

  • Postcard - recount a memory from our holiday and write a short summary for a friend.

Term 3 Week 9

  • WOW - Research the word renewable energy is and learn it's meaning. Find ways on how we can create energy that is collected from renewable resources.

  • Reading - Synthesize texts with your own prior knowledge to develop new ideas and understandings.

  • Writing - Write a report .

  • Writing - Write an introductory paragraph and a conclusion paragraph.

  • Writing - Use the TEXT structure to write a quality paragraph.
