These lists of words that are very useful for your child to be able to recognise and read quickly. The more words they know by sight the easier reading will be. Please try and practise these words each day alongside home reading. Start at List one and work on just a few words at a time. Once your child shows confidence in remembering three words choose the next few to add into the learning. As your child begins to know lots of these words point to them in a random order to ensure they know them well and have not just memorised the list!
