Established in 2021, the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Mangalam College of Engineering offers four year undergraduate programme leads to the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Chemical Engineering. In addition to regular B.Tech programme, this department is also actively involved in conducting faculty development programmes, job-oriented short-term training programmes and continuing education programmes for students and faculties.

Chemical Engineering is the branch of engineering that deals with the application of physical science with mathematics, to the process of converting raw materials or chemicals into more useful or valuable forms. The course offered covers mass, heat and momentum transfer operations, thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, transport phenomena, simulation and process control, environmental engineering, energy engineering, etc.
