Our Department of Civil Engineering, Mangalam College of Engineering has been hosting international conferences annually to enhance knowledge exchange and foster global collaboration between faculty, students, and industry experts. From 2021 to 2023, the department successfully organized the International Conference on Advancements and Recent Trends in Civil Engineering (ICART), attracting over 500 participants each year. ICART provided a platform for academic and industry professionals to present their work, focusing on the essential role of civil engineers in shaping the world's infrastructure. In 2024, the conference evolved into the International Conference on Sustainability in Materials, Energy, and Environment (ICSMEE), highlighting sustainability goals in these fields. ICSMEE 2024 saw participation from over 1,000 delegates worldwide, with high-quality papers presented and published in SCOPUS Indexed Conference Proceedings. This series of conferences continues to underscore the department's commitment to advancing civil engineering's role in global development. ICSMEE 2024 received financial support of Rs.85,000 from DST-SERB, Government of India.

ICSMEE’25 aims to bring together a diverse community of professionals worldwide to explore the latest advancements in sustainable practices critical to addressing global environmental challenges. This conference serves as a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration, fostering the exchange of knowledge and expertise in renewable energy, waste reduction, recycling technologies, and sustainable materials.
