Pickup is promptly at 4:45 pm in the front lobby. A late fee will be incurred after a 15-minute grace period.
It is recommended to pack your child an afternoon snack, as most clubs allow time to eat while students are filing in and attendance is being taken.
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS WILL NOT RUN ON DAYS WHERE THERE IS A HALF DAY OR NO SCHOOL.
Please note the dates of “No Class” for each activity. While most activities align with our school calendar, some activities run on a different schedule. Jami recommends adding the “No Class” dates to your personal calendar.
Do you enjoy playing DnD? Do you want to learn how to play DnD? Dungeons and Dragons Club is open to players of all abilities and game play knowledge. Come enjoy learning a new game or playing a game you already love. Veteran DM Jason Ostrowski will be leading a campaign for students who are new to D&D alongside our usual student-led campaigns.
This year’s fee will provide weekly snacks and game handbooks for students to use!
Payment will be collected by Jessica on the first day of class. Payment can be made by Venmo, cash, or check.

Rookly is an online competitive chess platform. The league is designed to create a fun mechanism for students to compete across 140 schools nationwide. We do keep internal chess ratings and standings. Eventually, we'll have state, regional, and national championships. Our platform integrates video into the chess board, making matches more captivating. You'll represent your school playing against a rival school. Students get a link customized for their school to compete through.
**This is an online competition style program designed for students who already have knowledge of the game of chess**

The youth martial arts fall session at the Mandel Day school is a skill-based program, founded on the principles of Krav Maga, which aims to develop functional strength, cardiovascular endurance, coordination, and self-defense skills in a safe, fun environment. The classes are progressive, starting with the fundamentals and adding variables as the students build skills. Some of the areas covered include stance, movement, striking and grappling skills, de-escalation, and more.
The benefits of martial arts training go well beyond “self-defense”. Higher levels of confidence, stress relief, respect for their peers and others, and a sense of community are all intangible outcomes that may help the students in their everyday lives.
Krav Maga Cleveland is the only Krav Maga training center in the Cleveland area. We are a group of people dedicated to enhancing the well-being of individuals and the community by offering a safe, inclusive, judgment-free, and fun space for everyone to learn and grow at their own pace.

While she’s learning about STEM, the outdoors, entrepreneurship, and important life skills, she’s discovering new ways to make your family and community stronger, kinder, and better for everyone. Together, they earn badges to reflect their successes and show the world what they’re made of. Payment is through Girl Scouts and information will be shared by Sheya.
