Talking to Colleges

We had lots of people speaking to many colleges and exploring more options and getting out of their comfort zone. Many of these colleges have so many options and scholarships that can work for the students to plan their future after High School.

Asking Questions!

It's very important to ask lots of questions while talking to college recruiters. They usually have all your answers and if they don't they offer you their card and text them, you can also use that as a chance to ask them questions if you didn't have the chance or didn't think of it will talking with them.

Sports Commitment

Lets talk about sports commitment and how it can work. In high school you have to decide very early on what career path you wanna follow, and it might just be sports. This can work in many different ways. If you get into to a college for a certain sport and decide on that college as your final then you will have to commit to it in front of a choice of family/friends and the college recruiter. Its the same way with going into a Branch of the Military.

Most people don't know how scholarships work and what they are about. If you simply ask the college recruiter they are more than willing to tell you how they work and what they offer. The scholarships that they offer are very helpful for those who can't afford college as other people can, there's also full ride scholarships that can be offered and will help a lot, especially with tuition.

Schools Around Community

Schools around the community decided to join us at the college fair. These schools included; Kalkaska, Elk rapids, Bellaire, East Jordan, Ellsworth, and Central Lake.
