In Room 5 for Maths this term we have been learnning about posing a question to gather data, then using that data to display information within a graph. Our inquiry based learning has been about fresh water long fin eels and their environments. We have also been learning to write an acrostic poem, writing about personal experiences. We have listened to stories about our surrounding areas e.g Parihaka, Mount Manaia, Parawhau. if you have any stories about our surrounding areas please share them with your tamariki.
