Counting on Dice

This video shows how we can learn to add numbers together without having to count them all by holding the biggest number in our head and counting on. We can play a game with dice to help us practice this skill.

Shapes

This video shows we can learn to recognise shapes in fun ways by looking at the shape of everyday objects and creating shapes with our bodies.

Finger Patterns Game

Once we learn to count we need to recognise numbers without counting them. This video shows a game we can play to help with knowing our finger patterns. We can also extend this further to learn our basic facts to 5 and 10, e.g. 4+?=5, 3+?=10.
