The Hommocks Library’s mission is to serve the Hommocks learning community. Students, faculty, administrators and families, are provided a safe learning environment for collaboration and exploration of a diverse collection. The Hommocks library supports school curriculum goals and aims to foster curiosity, inquiry and a love of reading. In partnership with the Hommocks Parent Teacher Association, the library organizes author visits and other library programs to draw students into the space and connect them with the community and each other. Inquiry experiences aim to develop thinkers who ask authentic questions that ignite their curiosities and then use a host of investigatory skills to find diverse sources of information from multiple perspectives in order to construct new knowledge and meaning about the world around them.
