Versed Money Community is scheduled to launch in Summer 2026!
Welcome to the Versed Money Community. We are a community of creatives who are serious about managing our money. We value progressive, shame free, and open dialogue that uplifts and celebrates each other's work while sharing all the best strategies to build positive, sustainable money habits so that you can thrive tomorrow AND today.
Headquartered in the greater Hartford, Connecticut area, we plan to have a robust online presence for members across the United States and also offer some in-person programming to support local theater and other arts organizations.
If you are a creative person trying to make money through artistic pursuits, even if your primary income is unrelated to your art, the Versed Money Community gives you a space to share your services, develop your business in community with other artists, and learn how to manage money sustainably so that you can spend as much time pursuing your art as possible.
Here's a non-exhaustive list of members we welcome:
poets. writers. bakers. chefs. graphic designers. interior designers. musicians. singers. songwriters. music producers. painters. potters. photographers. architects. sculptors. illustrators. caricaturists. teachers. instructional designers. actors. set designers. stagehands. sound engineers. costume designers. stylists. estheticians. animators. directors. producers. book designers. editors. florists. woodworkers. tattoo artists. dancers. tailors. jewlers. bloggers. journalists. Plus, we will consider our first 50 members to be FOUNDING MEMBERS, which means a whole lot of extra attention and no membership fee increases for as long as you hang around!
So, if you want to get better at money alongside a bunch of progressive, welcoming, artsy, weird people, just fill out the interest form and we will keep you updated.
OUT: stress, guilt, shame, get-rich-quick schemes, scarcity, the "starving artist" stereotype.
IN: confidence, joy, community, abundance, patience, tried-and-true strategies, literacy.
