Mrs. Gordon

Mrs. Gordon joined Malone Central School in 1991 as a member of the Speech department. Prior to her tenure at Malone Central, Mrs. Gordon worked/taught at FEH BOCES Universal Preschool Program. In 1994 she resigned from Malone Central School to raise her children. She was lucky enough to be able to perform speech therapy to preschoolers part time through Franklin County during this time. Mrs. Gordon has worked with students who present with articulation, phonology, language, fluency, voice, aphasia and multiple other disabilities.

Born and raised in Northport , New York (Long Island) Mrs. Gordon attended Northport High School, earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Plattsburgh State University in Plattsburgh, NY with a concentration in Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped/ Minor in Audiology. She holds a Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology. She is also a board certified Speech Language Pathologist and holds a NYS Speech Language Pathologist license.

Mrs. Gordon continues her education through attendance at the National Speech and Hearing Conference,local conferences, online courses, and professional collaboration. She is a member of ASHA (American Speech Hearing Association and a NYS Licensed SLP. In addition, Mrs. Gordon is the Founder of the Be Well Community which offers monthly workshops on overall wellness for the Malone community. She enjoys spending time with her family, health and fitness.
