The house dates from the eighteenth century and was originally the granary of a local mill.
The house has an upside-down design with a lovely old staircase and custom-made wrought-iron bannister on the west side of the house leading up to the light-filled living area at the top. The large master bedroom, with ensuite bathroom is on the ground floor; the second and third bedrooms occupy the middle floor alongside a good-sized family bathroom.
On the top floor of the house is a large bright living room with two sets of opening double doors, which flood the room with light. The doors, which have juliet balconies, open onto a picturesque village square and have glorious views across the square to the vineyards and the sea.
The high ceilings in this room create a wonderful sense of airiness and space.
An air conditioning unit above the windows can both cool in summer and heat during the winter.
In addition, a woodburning stove and electric radiators keep the room toasty in the winter months.
Next to the living area is a conveniently placed galley kitchen with tiled breakfast bar.
At the back of the kitchen is a pantry/ larder area which contains a full-height fridge-freezer and ample shelving.
The middle floor contains the other bedrooms. The first is a good-sized double with a casement window overlooking the square. Under the window is an electric radiator. The flooring is traditional parquet.
Also on the middle floor is the third bedroom, which is currently being used as a library. This has double doors opening out onto the square with a juliet balcony.
The room is equipped with an electric radiator.
This floor also has a good-sized family bathroom with a bathtub/ shower.
There is a large master bedroom on the ground floorwith ensuite shower room.
