Hamlet:

Summary: Students will read Hamlet by William Shakespeare. They will analyze the text through larger thematic concepts as well as develop their own theories of the play. Students will also critique contemporary and classic movie adaptations of the play, commenting on the actors' and directors' choices. Students will also read critical theory and formulate their own opinions about the play.
