With twenty-four years in education—thirteen of those in the classroom—I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Malden R-I School District as Instructional Technology Coordinator, SIS Administrator, and Elementary Math Coach.
As Instructional Technology Coordinator, I support both students and staff by managing student accounts, designing personalized professional development, and helping educators integrate innovative practices into their classrooms.
Earlier in my career, I served as the director of our after-school program for three years. In that role, I worked to expand learning opportunities beyond the school day by developing programming, recruiting and leading staff, and managing the grant budget. This successful program was truly a team effort, and I am thankful to have been part of its impact on student growth.
When the grant concluded, I transitioned into the role of Elementary Math Coach, a position I have held for seven years. During that time, we have focused on deepening mathematical understanding while thoughtfully implementing our district’s math program.
Three years ago, I also assumed the role of SIS Administrator, leading our district’s transition from Tyler to Infinite Campus. I collaborated with the implementation team and guided staff through onboarding to ensure a smooth and successful transition.
I am driven by a passion for learning and a commitment to sharing that knowledge with others. Maintaining a positive outlook and helping individuals recognize and build on their strengths is at the core of my work. I believe in empowering both staff and students through meaningful support.
My passion is teaching, and my professional focus is on technology integration. As a Google Certified Trainer, I value the balance between strong pedagogy and purposeful technology use. Technology will never replace quality teaching—but when thoughtfully integrated, it expands what is possible for both educators and students.
