Welcome

Welcome to Choir! My name is Amanda Layne. This is my 11th year at Malden R-1 School District and my 5th year teaching Choir. I absolutely love my job and working with students each day. I am married to my husband, Tyler, and we just celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary. We have two AWESOME kids. Anna is 11 and going into the 6th grade and Joshua is 8 and entering the 3rd grade. They keep our lives busy and happy! My other 130 kiddos I get to spend my time with are at school. I am the listening ear, snack giving, school momma!!! This year will be awesome and I can't wait to get started. I have lots of cool ideas planned for the year and cannot wait to see the students succeed this year!
