The Paul J. Gillespie, Esq. '58 Irish Heritage Collection

Starting in the winter of 2021, the late Mr. Paul Gillespie, class of 1958, began bringing over books from his personal library to Malden Catholic's libraries in the Learning Commons. Most of the books are about Irish history, culture, and literature.  Several of the titles focus on the Irish Famine and its effect not only on Ireland but also on the United States.

These books, almost 150 of them, are now available for our students and teachers to use for projects, research, and personal enrichment. Mr. Gillespie loved Malden Catholic and was a proud alum and donor. He would be so happy if students used his collection.
