Makuri School and Districts – 125 years plus Jubilee

Saturday 17^th October

10.30am Makuri School, Makuri Community Hall and St Marks Church open

to visitors for viewing (displays/photos/video footage/memorabilia)

Informal mini-van district tours (weather dependent) upon request,

later in the day.

12.00pm Lunch - served in the marquee at school

1.00pm Official welcome, Roll call, Speeches, Makuri School item/performance

and Photographs

3.00pm Cutting of Jubilee cake followed by afternoon tea

This concludes the days activities. If you have registered early and purchased dinner,

your evening continues in the marquee from 5 pm.

5.00pm Pre-dinner drinks and nibbles

6.30pm Dinner, interspersed with speeches/toasts (and maybe some impromptu

light entertainment and dancing later in the evening)

There will be a cash bar operating.
