Purchasing homemade soaps at craft fairs and boutique shops can be very expensive. Learn to make them yourself!
There are a number of reasons you might want to make soaps. Perhaps you want soap that is not created with chemicals such as lye. You may want to make fun gifts for special occasions such as Mother's Day or as stocking stuffers. Maybe you have stubborn children who do not want to take the time to stop playing and wash their hands before a meal. They may be inspired to do so if they had a fun soap to use like the ones pictured below. Or, perhaps you just like to make creative things- just for fun? All these are good reasons to learn how to make your own soaps!
