We are a technical high school with more than 100 years of experience in professional education. Today we are providing theoretical and vocational education and training, having a diversified educational offer as our students can choose one of the following qualifications: natural sciences, economic field as well as electric, electronic and mechanics. We are one of the biggest and prestigious schools in the region, having over 70 teachers and more than 1000 students, aged between 14-19. Our students benefit of internships on various organizations as supermarkets, auto repair shops and factories. The qualifications levels of our education and training system are between 2 and 4. We are not in a quite developed region so the economical and social background is not a quite motivated one for some of our students (low incomes, welfare dependency) but we encourage them and we want make them to be aware of their own values and their role in society. Since 2013, our students took advantage of the large green area in the school yard planting trees to help reduce pollution (our school is also situated in one of the most polluted areas in the city), planting flowers and building recreational spaces for themselves. Our school has the largest yard from all units in the district. Our city is in the North East region of the country and the big nearest city is Iasi, one of the oldest and well known university centers in Romania. Our city is located on the most fertile grounds for agriculture in the Iasi district. Some of our students orient their studies towards ecological cultures, thanks to the opportunities. Under the motto; the school where you come as a child and you become an accomplished adult!” our school has open doors for all those who have „love to learn”, giving them equal opportunities in life to form attitudes depending on their potential, interest and personal motivations, adapting the school's educational offer to the requirements of the community, specific to a common European area. The mission specific to our school is defined as a possibility to provide students who attend it equal opportunities in the educational and instructive plane.
