You're invited to an experiential learning and networking symposium for event organizers and emergency professionals called The Art of Mass Gatherings to Kansas City on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022, in collaboration with the Folk Alliance International and Kansas City Folk Festival.This learning event is part of a national program which uses festivals as classrooms to activate an arts-focused approach to community resilience and emergency preparedness. It’s meant for artists, event producers, and emergency professionals to come together and share knowledge to elevate the safety, accessibility, sustainability, and community engagement of events.

The Kansas City event is made available at no cost for up to 50 participants thanks to a grant from Performing Arts Readiness. Accommodations and childcare are available by request when you register.
