You're invited to an experiential learning and networking symposium for event organizers and emergency professionals called The Art of Mass Gatherings to Kansas City on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022, in collaboration with the Folk Alliance International and Kansas City Folk Festival.This learning event is part of a national program which uses festivals as classrooms to activate an arts-focused approach to community resilience and emergency preparedness. It’s meant for artists, event producers, and emergency professionals to come together and share knowledge to elevate the safety, accessibility, sustainability, and community engagement of events.
The program features a mix of local and national speakers, with an emphasis on everyone present adding to the conversation and taking turns as teachers and learners. Program highlights, details and registration here: bit.ly/aomgkc2022
The Kansas City event is made available at no cost for up to 50 participants thanks to a grant from Performing Arts Readiness. Accommodations and childcare are available by request when you register.

The Art of Mass Gatherings in Kansas City culminates a partnership between the Folk Alliance International and Majestic Collaborations with the support of Performing Arts Readiness. We're proud to be part of the incredible schedule of presentations and performances that are part of the 2022 event, whose theme is "Living Traditions." Separate registration is required to attend the Folk Alliance International Conference.
