The Hollis Project is a nonprofit organization through Nebula Robotics with the goal to create more versatile toys for kids with inhibiting disabilities. The reason we were inspired to help is because our coach has a cousin born with a disability that causes him to have a severe amount of seizures every day. This has caused a lack of fine motor skills, so we designed a 3D-printable controller converter to allow him to drive RC cars. This converter has a customizable handle with options such as straps or ball tops. The reason we chose to have customizable designs is for a larger range of comfort and suitability for more inclusivity. Right now, we are working on a universal attachment that we can attach to the handle of almost any controller. We want to be able to put the model in software that anyone can access, so in the near future, if you want to print one, you can print your own whether it's for a friend or family. If any more question feal free to contact us.
