FTC is an international program that ignites an interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through exciting hands-on learning and playful problem-solving. Each year, teams are challenged to design, build, program, and test dynamic robotics to compete in an exciting, themed robotics challenge released every September. On and off the field, students develop STEM skills, engage in community outreach, practice engineering innovation, and build confidence to help them succeed.
Main Sequence Robotics are competitive robotics team's that designs, builds, and programs really cool robots to solve complex challenges. The team's focuses on innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving, combining design, electronics, and coding to create high-performing robots. Through competitions, outreach, and collaboration, Main Sequence Robotics helps students develop real-world STEM skills and inspiring others to learn more about engineering and technology.
Established in 2022, Nebula is a nonprofit robotics team dedicated to creating opportunities for growth, innovation, and learning. Our name reflects our mission. Just as a nebula is the birthplace of stars, we aim to spark curiosity, inspire discovery, and drive positive change in our community.
Our team brings together students from diverse backgrounds and schools across Helena and surrounding areas. We foster an inclusive environment where both experienced members and newcomers are encouraged to learn, collaborate, and grow together.
Through hands-on engineering, mentorship, and teamwork, Nebula empowers students to develop technical skills, leadership, and confidence. We are committed to promoting respect, integrity, and innovation while inspiring the next generation of problem-solvers and creators.
Together, we strive to build a future where every student has the opportunity to explore, learn, and shine.
At Nebula Robotics, building robots is only part of our mission. We’re driven by a bigger goal: lifting our community through STEM, teamwork, and hands‑on learning. From classrooms to local events, we’re dedicated to inspiring young minds and giving back in meaningful ways.
We believe engineering and technology should be accessible to every student. To help make that real, we:
Visit local schools and youth groups to run interactive STEM demos
Provide FIRST LEGO League and FTC teams with coaching advice and technical support
Present at summer camps and after‑school programs with structured activities and curriculum
Attend STEM fairs and demo days

Our mission is guided by our Nebula constellation that shapes who we are as a team and how we grow. Our constellation is made up of four core values, Curiosity, Creativity, Collaboration, Community.
