Christian Bridges, Cabaret Emcee
Meteorologist Christian Bridges has been forecasting the weather for four years in Maine, first at CBS13 and now at NEWS CENTER Maine. Originally from Georgia, Christian has been loving life in Maine and enjoying all the great outdoor activities we have to offer. When not on TV you can most likely find him skiing on the slopes or even teaching ski lessons at Black Mountain of Maine. As a member of the LGBT community, he’s so thrilled to be able to be a part of this event to support the gay men’s choir!
Pablo Barajas
Pablo (He/They) is beyond grateful to perform alongside a group filled with so much love and heart! He holds a BFA in musical theatre performance from the Theatre Conservatory at Chicago College of Performing Arts. His past credits include Sweeney Todd (AEA), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (AEA), Godspell (54 Below), and Big Fish (54 Below). Pablo is the founder of medical and adult use cannabis edible manufacturing brand, Litty Bittys, based in Auburn.
Matt Brittingham
Born into a musical family, I’ve been singing and performing all my life. These days, I’m just so grateful to the MGMC for providing a space for so many wonderful local musicians to showcase our talent.
Timothy Cavanaugh
Timothy sang in school choirs and musicals from first grade through college. After a multi-decade hiatus, he returned to choral singing with the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus (2018–2024). Timothy joined the Maine Gay Men’s Chorus in early 2025, shortly after relocating to Portland, and is thrilled to be performing in this year’s Cabaret
Gabriel (Gabs) Chassé
Was a part of the original chorus company and happily proud to be part of the present incarnation – and to say… “I’m a cabaret artiste!” For RAL
Edd Clark
Edd made the switch from NYC to Scarborough during Covid with his husband Paul, and two 20-year-old cats. He is loving Maine, MGMC, and his John Deere lawn tractor. Edd participated in theater and cabaret in NY, including the Bistro Award winning cabaret show “3 Tenors in Search of an Act”, and the long running “Sue and Edd’s FABULOUS Christmas”. Cameron Durgin
Cameron has been making music since the 4th grade in Rollinsford, New Hampshire. He began with the flute, then continued on to saxophone, piano, and voice in middle school. With inspiration garnered from storytellers like Céline and Shania, and pop divas like Mariah and Whitney, he relishes bringing heart and hurt to songs from any genre, while always protecting the joy that only comes from music. Thanks to MGMC and all its members, since 2017, he has continued to spread love and smiles through music and community.
E Scot Fuller-Beatty
E Scot Fuller-Beatty is a tenor with several seasons under his belt with the Maine Gay Men’s Chorus. He loves storytelling through music and, when not performing, works as a business consultant and educator. Thrilled to celebrate Valentine’s night with you, he’s also open to post-show cocktails, prolonged eye contact, and—should you be brave enough—a very persuasive reason to be unavailable next February 14th.
Todd Greenquist
Todd lives in Scarborough with his partner of thirty years, Jonathan Carr. Throughout his life, he has enjoyed performing, as a dancer in Robinson Ballet Company, an actor in numerous plays and musicals, and even a singer in various operas. Todd first sang with MGMC back in 1995 and still loves the time he gets to rehearse and perform with this amazing group.
Peter Haley
Peter is currently in his 4th season with MGMC. Prior to residing in Maine, he lived in Texas and sang with the Austin Gay Men’s Choir. When he’s not singing, he spends his time reading, cooking, and traveling. He’s excited to return to Iceland this summer with his loving and adventurous partner, Aidan. Happy Valentine’s to all!
Luther Joyner
Luther recently joined the chorus this past season. Doing so, offered a chance to deeply reconnect with music – and themself. Surrounded by the community of the MGMC, Luther hopes their little song and dance – with a sprinkle of joy – can bring a smile and a laugh to another fellow human.
Dwayne Kent
Started singing with the Maine Gay Men’s Chorus in 2002. Prior to that was with the One Voice Chorus in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am very excited to have this opportunity to perform in the Valentine’s Day Cabaret alongside these talented singers.
Demetri Kirchberg
Currently in his 5th season with the Maine Gay Men’s Chorus, Demetri is a singer, writer, snowboarder, spin instructor, and special education teacher living in Portland. He draws musical inspiration from his mother’s church singing, and his brothers’ heavy metal collections. When Demetri isn’t pursuing one of these passions, he is pursuing time with his forever valentine, Zephyros, doing any of their favorite activities like co-reading books, watching the Oscars nominated list, or seeing new parts of the world.
Darrell Leighton
Born in the UK, Darrell moved to Maine at the age of thirteen. He holds degrees in Education and Performance from New England Conservatory. After some years away from music, he returned to Maine and began singing with ChoralArt and Camerata, and joined MGMC for the 2024-25 season. He has sung with Opera Maine, Ogunquit Playhouse, Portland Players, and Lyric Music Theater. Darrell was also a competitive skater and coach and is an avid tennis player! 3 Cheers for MGMC and our continued impact!
Martin A. Lescault
Tenor Martin A. Lescault is a Maine-based singer and performer. He has been featured as a soloist throughout Maine and beyond with such groups as the Boston Pops, the Orlando Symphony, and at Westminster Abbey in London. Martin has also appeared in many local theatrical productions, including leading roles in Company and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Martin resides in Scarborough with his husband Ed and Teddy the wonder dog.
Nate Menifield
Nate, the artistic director of the Maine Gay Men’s Chorus, is frequently in demand as a teacher, guest conductor, adjudicator, and performer throughout Maine and New Hampshire. A classically trained lyric baritone equally at home in choral and operatic repertoire, he has performed as a soloist with Maine-based ChoralArt, Oratorio Chorale, and Amethyst Chamber Ensemble, as well as the Stanford Symphonic Chorus/Peninsula Symphony and St. Andrew’s Choir (CA). He currently manages staff and faculty equity and inclusion programs at Bates College, and resides in Brunswick with his husband, daughter, and goldendoodle.

Noah Paradis
Noah Paradis is thrilled to be joining the Maine Gay Men’s Chorus for this wonderful celebration of love! A native of Scarborough, Noah began singing with his Catholic parish at the age of ten. Come high school, Noah participated as a tenor in the Maine All-State chorus, and as a soloist in the Maine All-State Jazz Ensemble. As a student at the University of Vermont, Noah was a 4-year member of the “UVM Top Cats” a cappella ensemble, where he served as the President until his graduation in 2018. Noah would like to thank Gloria Franco Bonnin for the vocal guidance and mentorship. Please enjoy the show!
Patrick Pastor
Patrick is originally from France and has been living in Maine for eleven years, after immigrating from the Caribbean. Patrick works in the nursing department at a local hospital and often charms the patients and staff with his seductive vocals. He is passionate about music and is a big fan of Eurovision Song Contest. He loves to sing in various languages and tonight he shares a favorite in his native French!
Sarah Phinney
Sarah Phinney lives in Gorham with her husband, Scot, and their daughter, Izzy. A Bowdoin College graduate with degrees in mathematics, economics, and music, she now works in Bowdoin’s Alumni Relations Office. She first joined the Maine Gay Men’s Chorus as accompanist from 2007 to 2009 and returned in 2015. She loves making music with this Chorus and bringing this Cabaret to life with them has been especially meaningful – blending friendships, musical talents, and a whole lot of heart.
Harold Rodriguez
Harold, born in Cuba, makes his cabaret directing debut with You Matter to Me. His artistic roots were shaped by his work with Schola Cantorum Coralina, and his theatrical voice is influenced by Broadway productions including The Lion King, RENT, Wicked, and A Chorus Line. As a member of the Maine Gay Men’s Chorus, he is honored to help craft an evening where music, storytelling, and community resonate as one. He thanks his friends, family, and his husband for their constant love and support, and above all, his Ayita: gracias por siempre protegerme y guiarme.
David Sherman
David Sherman has had a long involvement with the Maine Gay Men’s Chorus both as singer and accompanist and it was in the Chorus that he met his husband, Ed Hurley. A classically trained pianist he has taught lessons privately and worked as an accompanist. He was on staff at the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music in Nelson, New Hampshire and continues to participate in their summer festival. David has been a part of musical theater as a musical director, dancer, pit musician, and rehearsal accompanist. David is a retired math teacher from Portland Adult Education and enjoys travel.
Max Soley
A recent graduate of Wesleyan University’s astronomy & astrophysics program, Max Soley is a lyric baritone with experience in musical theatre, jazz, opera, pop, and a cappella styles. As previous leader of Wesleyan’s "The Mixolydians" a cappella group and voice student of jazz vocalist Giacomo Gates, Max is passionate about vocal performance and brings a great appreciation for music as an agent of community.
Thomas Spafford
Thomas Spafford has been a choral musician his entire life, singing in a variety of church, school, community, and professional choirs. He has been a member of the Maine Gay Men’s Chorus since 2022. He also sings with all three ensembles of ChoralArt and the choir of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Cape Elizabeth. As a new retiree, he looks forward to spending a few weeks on the Camino de Santiago this fall!
Sam Williams
Sam is originally from Connecticut but now calls Maine home. Raised in a family of musicians, music has long been part of his everyday life. He writes and performs original songs, moving between guitar, piano, banjo, and other instruments, with roots in folk traditions. Outside of performing, he can often be found writing new music, playing D&D, or serenading his cat.
