Parents and Families
Waldorf early childhood education is not limited to what happens in a formal school setting. The home is the child’s first and most formative educational environment, and Waldorf educators strive to create a “home away from home” for the children in their care.
If we embrace the perspective that the child is a being of body, soul, and spirit, and draw inspiration from the insights that Rudolf Steiner offered out of his spiritual and scientific research into the nature of the human being, this will transform how we live and work with children. Anyone can enter upon this path of learning and discovery, and find a sound basis for facing many of the challenges of raising a family in the world today.
