While we understand that summer is a time for vacations, recreation, and relaxation, research suggests that many students have trouble remembering important math content from spring to fall. It is important for students to do some math over the summer so that they are ready to go on the first day of school. The review packets attached to this web page are optional, but strongly recommended for students. They contain problems that teachers will expect students to know at the start of the school year. Each packet contains several questions and answers at the end of the packet. Students, it is recommended that you try these, check the answers, and then see if you can make any corrections to problems you got incorrect . Your teacher will be happy to collect your packet at the start of the year and provide feedback for you.
BE SURE TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT REVIEW PACKET based on the course you are enrolled in the fall. This will also help your teacher assess what you understand at the start of the course.
