Sophomores:

All sophomores will be photographed this Friday through their PE and/or Health class. You you are not in a PE or Healthy class, and you are a sophomore, please go to the Auditorium lobby with your id for your yearbook picture.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to create awesome digital images? Graphic Arts Club welcomes members of all levels, from beginner to advance. Our first meeting will be Monday September 30th in Room 175. Come join us!

Attention Students:

Guys and girls interested in learning gymnastics and Circus skills are welcome to come to the first Circus Club practice of the year this Friday up in the Gymnastics Gym at 3:30 pm. No experience is necessary, but be sure to bring work-out clothes and socks for all gymnastics and Circus events. If you love to flip, this is the place for you! Come join the FUN!

Attention Students:

Interested in competing against Maine West, South, or any other local school? If so, then join the Gamer’s Guild to play fun and skillful games! These games include, but are not limited to: Rocket League, Starcraft 2, League of Legends, Hearthstone, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Anyone can play; casual or competitive! It’s never too late to join the Gamer’s Guild! The club meets Tuesdays in the LRC Mural Room from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

This event consists of a series of educational sessions on topics such as money management, college, success, and a keynote speaker. Also, free lunch! This year's Black-Teen College success program will take place on Thursday, October 3rd, from 8:30 am - 2:00 pm. Interested JUNIORS & SENIORS should see Ms. Yochim or Mr. Ibrahimovic in Student Services for a permission slip. Space is limited.

South Asian Student Association

First meeting for the South Asian Student Association (SASA) will be Monday September 30 at 3:20 pm in Room 245. Can't wait to see you there! Garba plans and leadership roles will be discussed.

Monsters of the Midway:

Ticket are $7 and $5 for Maine East students and can be purchased from any cast or crew member. Don’t miss this hysterical evening of murder and mayhem.

Dance Location: ABCD Gym

Cost: $25 per person

Where to purchase tickets: Bookstore

The last day to purchase your tickets is Today, September 20th so don’t delay. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Remember, if your date to the Homecoming Dance is not a current Maine East student, you must have them fill out a guest form. Guest forms are available outside the bookstore or in the Deans’ Office and must be returned to the deans' office for a signature and then presented at the time of your purchase.

There will be parking sticker sales on Thursday, September 12th, in the field house from 7:15 am until 8:15 am. If you have a valid driver's license AND current insurance, you may apply. The cost for the parking sticker is $115. You MUST have your vehicle here at the time of sales. Pick up applications in the Deans' office or the bookstore TODAY, prior to the day of parking sticker sales as a parent/guardian must sign the application. See Mr. Parlette or Mr. Kennedy in the Deans' Office if you have questions before the sales.

The cost for the parking sticker is $115. You MUST have your vehicle here at the time of sales. As a result, ME Cares has decided to focus this year's charitable fundraising efforts to groups who want to preserve the environment. Well if you have, feel free to join the Language Learning Exchange, a place to freely learn any language, with all the help you need. The UN has called global climate change the defining issue of our lifetime. As a result, ME Cares has decided to focus this year's charitable fundraising efforts to groups who want to preserve the environment. Join us at our next meeting to continue on Wednesday 8/28 at 3:20 in room 232. We hope to see members from last year and many new faces.
