COACH stands for Cooperative Achievement. COACH is the peer tutoring program at Maine West.

COACH tutors are professionally trained to help students with their classes and study habits. Tutors are available to help with ALL SUBJECTS.

The mission of the COACH program is to improve learning through students helping students. The tutoring process benefits all those involved by creating a positive environment, increasing student confidence, and developing and improving student study skills.

How do I find a COACH tutor?

  • COACH tutors are available in study halls during the school day and before school from 7:30-8:20 in the LRC. See the COACH schedule here for more details.

  • Email Mr. Getz at bgetz@maine207.org to request a tutor for specific subject.
