Acid Base Imbalances

In Respiratory Acidosis or Alkalosis, the pH and CO2 levels will be affected. In Respiratory Acidosis, the pH will be low but the HCO3 will be high. In Respiratory Alkalosis, the pH will be high but the HCO3 will be low.
